Failure of Al-Ahly management

There is no doubt that Al Ahly Club, with its rich history and trophy cabinets, is a symbol of success and stability in African and Arab football. However, this towering edifice has recently been suffering from a recurring crisis that is shaking its technical foundations: the crisis of choosing a technical director. It is no longer a matter of a wrong decision or a passing bad luck, but has turned into a vicious cycle of high expectations, followed by choices that lack vision, ending in failures that lead to inevitable dismissals.

Al-Ahly's technical director crisis: repeated administrative failure or poor plannig?

When you lose your compass

This article aims not only to list the mistakes, but also to analyze the roots of this disturbing phenomenon. We will delve into the reasons behind this administrative sloppiness, and how these decisions have affected the team's identity and technical stability, attempting to answer the most difficult question: How can we break this vicious cycle before it costs the club more titles and time?

The sound of the runway:

For the first time in the history of Al-Ahly club, the fans broke their silence and refused to take over the team in the match against Pyramids in the fifth week, which ended with Al-Ahly club losing by two goals to none. The fans called on the Spanish coach, Ribeiro, to leave.

Without artistic vision:

Without a technical vision, the Al-Ahly Club Board of Directors assigned the task of interim technical director to Captain Emad El-Nahhas, and this decision will lead to a physical and technical disaster for the Al-Ahly Club team. From my simple analysis, Captain Emad El-Nahhas is missing the scientific aspect in developing the player physically and technically, and he does not have advanced courses.

Lack of administrative focus:

The Al-Ahly club’s board of directors lacked focus in making technical decisions for the team, as without technical awareness, the board did not notice that among the team’s previous coaches was Captain Sami Qamssan, who worked with the great coaches (Mosimane - Kohler - Weiler), one of whom was the South African Mosimane in the first stages of the world championship, then the Swiss Kohler, the largest player developer to appear in the Middle East region so far.

Persistence:

Instead of the board holding on to coach Sami Qamssan for the position of technical director, the board continued to forget him as if he was one of the displeased ones. This coach will go down in history as one of the legends of Egyptian football in training, and God knows best.

Note :

This decision taken by the Al-Ahly Club Board of Directors to appoint Emad El-Nahhas will exacerbate the team’s injury crisis, and God knows best.
